Hello Families!
We have officially started the last month of school before summer and so excited to enjoy this wonderful weather. A friendly reminder that Friday is a PD day.
We practiced noticing the different types of punctuation and how it can change the way we read. In writing, we used our plan from yesterday to write about one big feeling we have experienced. We learned about a few magic words to help make our writing more interesting. Ask me about the magic words we learned today. We have some pictures below of our author's chair.
In math, some of us are learning two digit regrouping strategies for addition and subtraction while others practiced making addition and subtraction stories. We even had an opportunity to go outside and create math stories based upon our surroundings.
*With the sunny weather, please try and have your child bring a hat, water bottle and extra sunscreen (if possible).
