Some reminders for tomorrow, March 24:

- Inspirational Shirt Day

- We will be going on a Coulee Walk (weather permitting) in the morning. 

We have been brainstorming ideas for our April Peace Assembly and everyone has been contributing their ideas on what they believe creates a peaceful community.  We do not want to give to much away, so stay tuned!

Thursday March. 18

 Hello Families,

We read the book, Each Kindness by Jacqueline Woodson and talked about how each kindness makes the whole world a bit better. The story taught us that it is important not to wait to be kind as we may lose the opportunity to show kindness towards someone.  

We were so excited to have our Roots of Empathy baby visits with Thompson and Nixon!  They are getting so big.  Ask me about the milestones they have achieved.  

Wednesday Mar 17

 Hello Friends and Family,

Happy St. Patrick's/Animal Day!  We had a great day learning about some of the history behind St. Patrick's day, and did some fun art.  Ask me what I know about St. Patrick's Day.

We also did some St. Patrick's Day -themed writing.  We could write about "How to Catch a Leprechaun", or What I Would Do if I Found a Pot of Gold, and some kids shared their writing afterward in Author's Chair.  Ask me what I wrote about!

We were excited to get to do gymnastics today in Gym on some equipment:

Hello Families!

Tomorrow is Animal Day! Try and dress like your favourite animal.  It is also St. Patrick's Day, so try and incorporate some green, if possible.

We have been continuing to work through our Mars inquiry.  We are investigating life on Earth and what is needed for living things to survive.  It has been so interesting to learn about how everything is connected and the importance of water to our planet and us! We are practicing our researching skills and journaling to document facts about Mars.  Please below of our Mars facts.
