Today we began honouring Indigenous Peoples' Week by meeting with Elder Jackie Bromley, reading stories including 'Sometimes I Feel Like A Fox', and participating in artwork that is inspired by Indigenous artists.
Our artwork today was inspired by Indigenous artist Norval Morrisseau who is known as the grandfather of contemporary indigenous art. His use of bright colours and depiction of animals had us interested!
