 Happy Wednesday!

Today we took part in Wacky Wednesday - We had some very wacky outfits in our classroom!

Reminder:

Talent Show: We will also be hosting a virtual talent show in the last week of school so if you have talent submit a video.  We ask that videos not be longer than a minute, if they are we will be editing them shorter.  A talent can be anything that you are great at so dig deep! Of course this is totally optional but if you would like a chance to showcase what you can do please submit a video to https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1hMdt38EKYBqxckjzuXbljB3FTczpRVx9?usp=sharing NO LATER THAN… Wednesday June 16th.  Please be aware that this is a google drive folder and anyone with the link can view.  Please just upload your video there, making sure it’s appropriate, and leave the rest to us! Our Day:

Today we began planning for a new writing topic: A very special grown-up! Students had a chance to brainstorm people in their lives that make them feel loved and safe. Many chose to write about their father, in preparation for father's day! Ask your child who they plan to write about.

During Phys. Ed, we played a game of battleship, and worked on our throwing skills, trying to knock down the other teams' ships!

In math, we continued working through word problems and are working to transfer our knowledge of addition and subtraction to real world word problems! Please take a look at the following word problems and work through them with your child:
