Happy Monday Everyone!
Reminders:
Spirit Days are back and closing out the 2021 school year. We want to have some extra fun these last three weeks and spirit days are just the start.
Every Wednesday there will be a new theme starting this Wednesday, June 9, with Country and Western!! The following Wednesday, June 16th, is Wacky Wednesday and the last Wednesday, June 23rd, will be Beach day (no bathing suits please).
We will also be hosting a virtual talent show in the last week of school so if you have talent, submit a video! We ask that videos not be longer than a minute, if they are we will be editing them shorter. A talent can be anything that you are great at so dig deep! Of course this is totally optional but if you would like a chance to showcase what you can do please submit a video to https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1hMdt38EKYBqxckjzuXbljB3FTczpRVx9?usp=sharing NO LATER THAN… Wednesday June 16th. Please be aware that this is a google drive folder and anyone with the link can view. Please just upload your video there, making sure it’s appropriate, and leave the rest to us! We can’t wait to see what you come up with!!
Our Day:
- We spent much of our day today enjoying the cool weather and rain - Please remember to bring weather appropriate clothing as we love to learn outside!
- Today in writing, students planned and wrote about their favourite season! Ask your child what season they wrote about and why its their favourite!
- In math, students continued showcasing their skills about addition and skip counting. - We ended our day by finishing our flower art using watercolour!
