Hello Family and Friends!
We had another busy and fun-filled day in Mountain View and Wild Rose. To continue with our work around Peace Week and Monday's International Peace Day, we read the story "Ordinary Mary's Extraordinary Deed" by Emily Pearson. Ask me about how one act of kindness can spread to others. We are working on "Gum"ing words in our writing, ask me what it means.
We worked in partners and created our own patterns for the rest of the class to guess. It was really great to see all of the different patterns that were made. See below for some pictures.
Important:We are planning on going for a Community Walk on this Friday, September 18. Please have your child dress for the weather as we will be going rain or shine. It will also be helpful to pack a handheld snack that they will be able to put in their pocket during the walk.
