Hello Families and Friends!
We are very excited to go on our first Community Walk tomorrow! Please dress for the weather and pack a handheld snack, so that your child can have a snack during the walk.
Today we read the story "Wangari's Trees of Peace" By Jeannette Winter. Ask me about Wangari and what she did to win the Nobel Peace Prize. We also did some writing about the type of person Wangari was and we made connections to Malala and her story. In math, we continued to work on patterns, and translated them, using manipulatives. We started noticing the changing of seasons and are learning how to draw realistic people in the different seasons!
