We had a great first day of school! There was a lot of new rules that we needed to talk about and follow, but Ms. Low and Mrs. Day are super proud of how well we handled it all. We were pretty excited about our brand new pencil cases and personal supplies. Ask me about my first day of school self-portrait!
Some housekeeping items:
Please make sure all your child's belongings (including outdoor shoes) are labelled. We will be bringing home more garbage than usual in our lunch bags to reduce the amount of sorting and rinsing of items before we put them in the appropriate waste bins. We are also going to (hopefully) reduce the need for teacher support/touching of our food containers, so please make sure to practice opening my food containers at home. Thank you for your support!
