Hello Families!
We started the day by reading Proud as a Peacock, Brave as a Lion and discussed why we honour Remembrance Day. We also each received our own Poppy sticker. At around 11am, we watched the beautiful Remembrance Day assembly that we had a part in making. We were so excited to see ourselves lay the Wreaths at the Peace Poles. It was also wonderful to see all the hard work of the other classrooms and how they exemplified a peaceful community through their artwork, poems, movement pieces and songs. We then wrote about why and who we are remembering on Remembrance Day. Please see some pictures below of our author's chair.
