Tuesday, April 20

 Hello Families!

We hope that you had another safe and relaxing weekend!

Today we were introduced to Autumn Peltier and learned that she is a Canadian water activist who advocates for clean drinking water in First Nation's communities and across the world.  She comes from Wikwemikong First Nation and is from Ojibway heritage.  Tomorrow we will write about her and others who have inspired us to help our world.  A reminder that Thursday April 22 is Earth Day!

We are diving deeper into learning about measurement and how the Blackfoot people measured using their understanding of nature.  We have investigated the terms; longer, shorter, width, height, and length.

Thanks for reading!
