Happy Groundhogs Day!
We learned some interesting facts about groundhogs and the old folktale of how they predict the weather. Ask me about Balzac Billy and his prediction. Will it be spring soon? We were also able to watch groundhogs around North America emerge from their burrows to see if they saw their shadows. I can tell you some of their very interesting names and where they are from.
In math, we learned and played a bingo game that challenged our knowledge of number recognition and representing numbers.
Tomorrow is Winter Walk Day! Please dress for the weather as we will be going outside as much as possible.
